Carlos Boozer Named Eastern Conference Player of the Week

Get it Booze-Cruise! After a week of phenomenal play, Bulls’ forward Carlos Boozer was named the Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Boozer racked up double-doubles in all four games played last week averaging 23.0 points and 14.8 rebounds. Since ringing in 2013 the big man has really stepped up his game and turned into the aggressive player we knew he could be.

Boozer’s best performance of the week was during the Bulls OT win against the Toronto Raptors. The forward lit up the court with 36 points and 12 rebounds. Those 36 points were the most he’s ever scored in a Bulls uniform and the 17 points he picked up in the first quarter were the most he’s ever scored in a quarter as Bull as well. Carlos Boozer has been taking his New Year’s resolution VERY seriously.

Congrats Boozer! We knew you had it in you! We’ve seen three weeks of consistent beast mode out of Boozer. The question is, can Boozer keep up this level of play throughout the rest of the season?
